We are all equal

We are all equal is one of the most dangerous expressions, especially when it’s used by people who don’t understand its meaning. Or to put it in a different way – always. Now we will take a look at the three primary levels of this sentence and I hope that after we clear things up, we will be able to prevent the terrible misunderstandings that it leads to.

  1. Low-level meaning

Of course, when we talk about material existence we can say that we are equals. Every one of us has the need to eat, to drink water, and to breathe oxygen. Or as the saying goes “Madonna also poops.” I could’ve mentioned the issue with money too but if anyone believes that he is not equal to another just because he doesn’t have as much money all I can do is stop for a moment and feel sorry for him… Or maybe some other time.

  1. High-level meaning

But at the high level, this sentence is totally wrong. Equals? Excuse me?! Can anyone say that the overman is equal to nonentity? I doubt it. As far as I know, following your dreams and being a part of the colorless masses is not the same thing. Also, I might be wrong, of course, but I will dare to guess that being able to feel real love is not the same as feeling the deepest emotion in your life when you have fucked your neighbor. We should also think of the low probability that there is a difference between genius and stupidity.

  1. The absolute meaning

Here the sentence is once again correct. We are all parts of the Soul of the Universe and in the end, we are all one. Everyone is a Soul that is at a different point of its journey and just because some of us are much further ahead in the spiritual development we shouldn’t forget that one day all Souls will reach the Absolute.
