Conflict – the driving force of humanity
Conflict, confrontation, competition are the driving force of humanity. The ideology of suppressing them at the expense of false harmony and dull peace can lead to nothing but the decline of the world. Man grows when he struggles, whether with the laws of reality, with a worthy adversary, or with himself.
War is a symbol of darkness and destruction, but only because men have been forced to fight for the ideals of others and to obey another, in the meantime trampling on their own goals and values. Any battle for a personal cause is valiant and beneficial to the world.
Peace, on the other hand, is a bright and wonderful thing, but it is valuable only as long as it is short-lived. That is why it is absurd that it should be the primary global value and our long-term plan for the future of the world. No war poses such a threat to humanity as eternal peace.
Everything great in nature is the result of a battle: the lightning bolts cutting through the sky are born from the collision of clouds. The sun’s rays struggle to reach the earth even on the darkest day. Mountains rise where two tectonic plates could not retreat. The mercilessly beautiful faces of the cliffs have been sculpted by the centuries-old attacks of the winds. The ocean challenges the land for every grain of sand. The cycle of life depends on the eternal race between the wolf and the deer, the tiger and the buffalo, the eagle and the hare.
Every significant achievement of the individual or of humanity as a whole has happened because of a clash. From fire to the steam engine to the computer, all have been created so that humans can combat the harshness of the world around them. Global history is a string of competitions between individual countries: who will conquer more land, who will make the next scientific discovery, who will discover a sea route to India, who will land on the moon first. Many of the greatest creations are also the result of competition: Tesla versus Edison, Bernini versus Barramini, and so on.
The strong person is not afraid of conflict. He wants to be better, to challenge and reward himself. This is why he even seeks conflict like a addict hooked on development and progress. Conflict for him is an opportunity to develop both his own gifts and those of his adversaries.
The free man is a warrior. He will forever fight against the unattainable, the unsolvable, the impossible. He is a solitary traveller confronting the unknowns of the whole universe with his will alone and setting out to conquer them. He is the conqueror of perfection, the lord of reality, the dictator of truth, the tyrant of rightness, and the ruler of infinity.
